Professional Highlights

In addition to being a longtime journalist, Susan is a book author/editor and has been at the helm of successful PR campaigns. She’s also a successful grant writer and has been a presenter of journalism training sessions for the New Jersey Press Association. She was invited to participate in media forums held by two governors of New Jersey, served as co-chair on a Diversity, Inclusion and Global committee for a nonprofit, and was keynote speaker at the Philadelphia Writers Conference.

Awards and Nominations

As a journalist, Susan has been the recipient of numerous writing/editing/design awards and recognitions, and was nominated for an award for excellence in Cardiovascular Reporting by the American Heart Association.

Community Leadership Roles

Active in her community, Susan served as President of Medford Sunrise Rotary, served on the board of trustees for the South Jersey Pops Orchestra and as President of the Shawnee High School Band Parents Association. She’s also done public image work for various events, including Medford’s annual Dickens Festival and local jazz band performances.
